Terms of Use
These terms describe what ClearSpend does, what it does not do, and what is expected of you as a user.
1. Service scope and eligibility
ClearSpend is a manual-entry budgeting and cash-flow planning tool for personal use. It is not a bank, payment service, lender, or financial adviser. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
2. Accounts
You need an account to store data. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your entries
Every number in the app comes from you. Accuracy of the balances, dates and commitments you enter determines the accuracy of everything the app calculates. ClearSpend does not connect to your bank and does not import account data automatically.
4. Limits of estimates
Available-to-spend figures, forecasts and simulations are estimates, not guarantees. Missing expenses, delayed income or changed circumstances will change them. Nothing in the app is financial, tax, investment or legal advice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully.
6. Price and payment
ClearSpend is sold as a single one-time payment of $39.94 USD, completed at our external checkout partner, Digistore24. The actual total and the one-time nature of the payment are shown next to the purchase button before you pay. No subscription is started and no recurring charge is made by us. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Suspension and deletion
You may delete your account and data at any time from Settings. The operator may suspend accounts that breach these terms. If your purchase is refunded, access to the app is revoked.
8. Intellectual property
The software and its content belong to the operator. Your entries remain yours.
